Vision

Communities in which capable leaders and strong civil society structures cooperate to promote community development and participation in development processes that address priority community needs.

Mission

To build capacity in marginalized communities and civil society by enhancing leadership, strengthening structures and expanding networks that facilitate development and mobilize communities to participate in processes that address priority needs.

Programme Area

FCR’s programme work has previously been organised across two programme areas, namely: Participatory Democracy (Good Governance) and Developmental Partnerships (Municipal-Community Partnerships).

However, in response to community needs, changes in the political landscape, and increases in service protests, FCR has decided to combine the value achievable through its previous programs with its new objectives to implement a single integrated program.
