FCR is currently responsible for the coordination of three networks:

Good Governance Learning Network

FCR is the current co-ordinator of the Good Governance Learning Network (GGLN), which is a loose network of South African NGOs which focus primarily on promoting good local governance. The GGLN is funded by the Ford Foundation and supported by other funding partners such as the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, and the Open Society Foundation for South Africa.

LogoLink Southern Africa

LogoLink is a global network of governance practitioners from civil society organisations, research institutions and governments working to deepen democracy through greater citizen participation in local governance. LogoLink consists of regional networks in South Asia, South East Asia, Latin America, East Asia and the USA.

Municipal-Community Partnership (MCP) Forum

Current debates and trends relating to the role and functions of local government with regard to local development motivated FCR to establish an MCP Forum at the end of 2004. The Forum is a network of representatives from developmental NGOs, local, provincial and national government structures and private sector.
